Frequently asked questions

We want your transition to Miruni to be seamless and as easy as possible. Here are answers to commonly asked questions — if you have a question that are not answered here please reach out directly to us at help@miruni.io.

Making the transition

What will happen to my existing data?

All existing data will migrate over into Miruni automatically, this includes all projects and stories — we want this transition to be as easy as possible!

What will happen to my existing users?

We're also moving all existing users — they will have the same access controls that were in place in BugReplay.

Will I need to create a new Miruni account?

No, your account will be automatically transferred over — starting December 04, 2023 you'll simply log into app.miruni.io with your same username and password.

Will my current plan change?

No, we're honoring all existing plans for 6-months. After that period you'll automatically be transitioned to a Miruni plan that fits the size of your user base and story count. You can cancel at anytime.

Bonus: You can switch your legacy plan to a new Miruni plan at anytime — once you do adding/removing users will impact your monthly cost.

Do I need to update payment information?

Nope. We're taking care of that also! Your payment information from BugReplay will automatically transition to your Miruni account.

Will I lose any any functionality?

No, all the features of BugReplay are still supported and available. The good news is we have massively improved the platform with new ways to capture feedback, better ways to visualize feedback, new project management features and more!

Will I lose any of my existing integrations?

Initially we'll support Jira integrations with others coming soon. You'll be notified when they're available. If your team has an urgent request please feel free to reach out to us.

Can I still see technical details?

You will have the ability to view all the Network Traffic, Javascript Log, Server Log, and environmental data for any video story type (screenshot and inspect coming soon!). For stories with video, the logs are fully synchronized with the video so as you progress thought the video you can see that actual state of each log to better help you identify the issues. You will also still automatically get all the environmental variables like before.

How will the browser extension work?

On the transition date, December 04, 2023, your current Toybox extension will automatically update to Miruni. You'll just see the Miruni logo where the Toybox one used to be.

What is a workspace?

Your Miruni workspace is what contains all your teams and projects. It also gives you macro-level controls to manage team members, projects and billing settings. These settings are only available to workspace owners.

What are teams?

Teams consist of projects of stories with each controlling their own projects and team members. This allows your org to keep the feedback process well organized and humming.

What are projects?

Projects are the container for all story captures. With project visibility and permission controls you'll be able to set up anyway that suits your workflow.

What are stories?

Reports in BugReplay are now called Stories. We changed the name to Story so it is better aligned with the different use cases people have been using BugReplay. We could see in the data that people not only used it for bug reports but for many other things like sharing ideas on products and branding we realized that a "Story" better describes the concept.
